The short version: HanHan helps you work out who owes what. It doesn’t move money, and you should check the amounts before you pay anyone. Be kind to the people you split with.
Using HanHan
By using HanHan you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. HanHan is run by Zero To One Co., Ltd.. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Your account
You can use HanHan without an account, or Sign in with Apple to sync. Keep your Apple ID secure; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Your content
Trips, expenses, receipts and names you add are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them to the people you share them with, only so we can run HanHan. Only add other people’s names or details if you have a good reason to.
Calculations and money
HanHan calculates shares, balances and currency conversions to help you settle up. It doesn’t send, hold or receive money. Exchange rates are for guidance and may differ from your bank’s. Please check amounts before paying.
AI reading
Reading receipts and voice can make mistakes. You can edit every line before saving, and you’re responsible for checking the result.
Fair use
Don’t misuse HanHan: no breaking the law, harassing people, trying to get into other people’s data, overloading our servers or getting around usage limits.
The service
HanHan is free for now. We may add, change or remove features, set usage limits, or introduce paid features; we’ll tell you before anything you rely on changes. We work to keep HanHan running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free.
Disclaimer and liability
HanHan is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses or for money lost because of a wrong amount. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
Ending
You can stop using HanHan and delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
